About the role

We’re looking for a Head of SEO. You’re someone who loves local SEO, knows how to lead a team, and isn’t afraid to make big decisions based on data and results. You're also someone who enjoys testing new things and improving SOPs to keep us ahead of the curve.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

🔍 Lead and mentor a team of 5 SEOs to ensure high-impact strategies are being implemented
🧠 Decide what works - better links, smarter structure, citations, press releases—and make it happen
💬 Request extra budget from clients when needed to get real results
📈 Shape and constantly improve our local SEO SOPs
🧪 Keep testing and re-testing strategies to stay cutting-edge
📣 Be responsible for rankings and lead generation success across our client base

You’re someone who takes initiative, communicates clearly, and doesn’t wait around for someone to tell you what to do. 

You enjoy figuring things out, testing new strategies, and leading by example. 

You’re honest, adaptable, and excited to be part of a team where your ideas and input actually matter.

Working Hours : This is a full-time role with working hours from 6am to 2pm EST (a 3 -4 hour overlap is needed, but no graveyard shifts!).

About you

To excel in this role, you need to have: 

✅ 5 years + experience in SEO.

✅ Previous/ current experience in an agency setting

✅ Experience working with international and US-based clients

✅ Sound experience in Local SEO
✅ WordPress expertise
✅ Proven management experience

Brownie points for:

⭐ Entity SEO knowledge
⭐ Experience with AI tools or agents
⭐ Background working with home service-based businesses
⭐ Familiarity with Go High Level
⭐ Understanding of geo-grids
